September 14, 2000 - May 15, 2016
Kameron Allison,15, of Reddick, was called by God up to the Major Leagues on May 15, 2016. His contagious energy on the field, knowledge of the game, and love of the game and his team all made Kameron a #1 pick. Still in the Minors are his mother; Kratina Wesemann of Reddick, his father; Jacob Allison and step mother Lindsey of Bourbonnais, a sister; Kloe Allison, two brothers; Kyuss and Keaton Allison, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. When he received the call, Kameron was a freshman at Herscher High School. Kameron enjoyed many things including playing whiffle ball with his friend’s rain or shine, playing fantasy baseball with family, playing PS4 with his family and friends, chatting it up with his sister, drawing, sports and the Chicago Cubs. Before being called to the Majors, Kameron’s love for history and art had him wanting to be a teacher and an architect. Kameron had an overall love for life and as a member of Calvary Bible Church, he accepted Christ into his heart January 2015. Now in the Majors, Kameron has joined a group of fans including Great Grandpa Pop John Walker, Grandma Diana Wesemann, Aunt Teresa Sorensen and Uncle Dwayne “Doogie” Allison, Great Grandpa Floyd Wesemann Sr., Great Grandma Mary Wesemann and Great Aunt Katie Wesemann.
